The first Level 1 Class taught The Tiger to release pent up Qi that when you have been stifling your feelings and holding back on expressing your beliefs.
When practiced you feel the release of inhibited Qi and a renewal of the natural flow resulting in a calm, balanced and strong YOU.
We also practiced bringing up the Earth’s Qi through the Lower, Middle and upper Dantian into heaven. And then bringing the Heaven’s Qi, through the upper, middle and lower Dantian
into the earth. This balances your Qi and restores the flow that connects us with nature and the world around us.
The first movement of Master Peng’s Four Golden Wheels is the Shaking and mobilization of Qi ‘like a child in a playground’. It clears the Qi field and gets your entire body moving.
And as we know from Physics, “A body in motion tends to stay in motion.”
Lower Dantian – from slightly below Navel extending down the feet into the Earth. The Vitality center of the body. Groundedness, in touch with reality, balanced and rooted.
Middle Dantian – The heart/lung center. Connectedness to others, self and the world around us. Hands and arms are the extension. Lao Gong, palm of the hand.
Upper Dantian – Wisdom and Intuition. the extension is the senses, eyes, ears, nose and mouth. Being aware of our surroundings and making proper decisions accordingly for YOU
