We’re entering Winter, the season of contemplation and rest. Some of us are setting goals, making New Years resolution and planning for change. In a plant this season represents the seed stage of life and some consider it the time to plan how we will sprout and generate life in a new direction.
I’m offering a new Qi Gong class on Tuesday Nights at The Embodiment Center in downtown Asheville from 7:15-8:30pm starting January 2.
I’m excited to be teaching in this beautiful space at 120 Coxe Avenue, the former home of One Center Yoga. I will be teaching in a very spacious corner studio that provides plenty of room for movement. Since it is sometimes used as a Yoga Studio, yoga mats are available for our use when I teach Tao Yin Qi Gong, which has movements that are performed on the floor.
The class will be open to all levels and I will be teaching many different techniques for gathering, cultivating and moving Qi throughout your body. Also, since the class is one hour and fifteen minutes long, I have more teaching time than my usual one hour classes.
I’m excited to be affiliated with this new studio and the professional team of instructors that will be teaching here.
Please go to the Embodiment Center Website for class costs and registration.
Or contact me at allen@ashevilleqigong.com for any further information.
My Saturday Classes will be held as scheduled during the Holiday Season Saturday Mornings 10:30-11:30am at Habitat Brewery and Commons, 174 Broadway
(the entrance is in the rear of the building and there is free parking in any of the MOOG employee spaces as they are closed on Saturdays)
— in the event of snow, you may contact me about cancellations that morning.
No Christmas Day class at ACY. And Liz will be teaching my January 1 class.
Have a Happy Holiday Season everyone!
Allen
